This itinerary takes you through some of the most beautiful coastal places in Menorca:

  • Cala en Turqueta: famous for its turquoise water so clear that it seems impossible, surrounded by pine trees and cliffs that protect it from the wind.

  • Cala Macarella and Macarelleta: two adjoining jewels of white sand, calm waters and an almost virgin environment, perfect for snorkeling or just let yourself be carried away by the calm.

  • Cala Galdana: a wide bay, with services, restaurants and facilities, which also offers points from which to enjoy the best sunsets in the south.

The stretch between Macarella and Cala Galdana along the Camí de Cavalls adds magic to the route: paths by the sea, panoramic views, small natural refuges, hidden coves and the constant murmur of the Mediterranean as a companion.

  • Difficulty: Medium – the terrain can be sandy, with ups and downs, some rocky sections, and at certain points exposed to the sun.

  • Recommended season: Spring and late summer offer pleasant temperatures, less crowds and ideal light for photos.

  • Your car, your advantage: Having a vehicle allows you to reach the starting point, such as Cala en Turqueta or Macarella, without depending on schedules.

  • Access points: There are parking lots in Cala en Turqueta and Cala Galdana, from where you can start the hike. It is essential to arrive early in high season to ensure your place.

  • Intermediate services: In Cala Galdana you will find restaurants, stores and showers. In the other coves, services are very limited or non-existent.
