When you rent a car in Menorca, one of the things you should check before booking is the fuel policy. Although it may seem like a minor detail, this factor directly affects the final price, the return of the vehicle, and the customer’s peace of mind.

At Miramar Rent a Car, we are committed to a clear and simple policy designed to avoid unnecessary charges and ensure that you know from the start how fuel is handled with your rental.

The fuel policy specifies the fuel level at which you receive the car and the fuel level at which you must return it.

Many rental companies offer different options: some charge for fuel in advance, others charge a refueling fee, and still others use simpler systems, such as returning the car with the same fuel level as when it was picked up.

That’s why, before booking, it’s important to know exactly which system the company uses.

At Miramar Rent a Car, the first option is the full-to-full policy, with no additional fees.

This means that if you pick up the car with a full tank, you must return it with a full tank. If you pick it up with a different fuel level, you must return it with the same level.

For example:

The idea is simple: you return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as when you picked it up.

The main advantage is that you don’t have to pay for fuel in advance. You’ll fill up as needed during your stay and return the car with the corresponding amount of fuel.

This helps you avoid situations where you pay for more fuel than you’re actually going to use.

There are no complicated calculations. You just need to check the fuel level when you pick up the car and make sure it’s the same when you return it.

It’s a clear and practical way to manage your rental, especially if you want to avoid any surprises at the end of your trip.

When you understand how fuel works, you can better manage your expenses while traveling. In Menorca, the distances are relatively short, but if you’re going to be touring the island for several days, keeping track of your fuel consumption will help you plan more effectively.

Miramar Rent a Car does not charge a refueling fee. If the vehicle is not returned with the same fuel level, the customer must pay for the fuel not returned, but no additional charge is applied for the refueling service.

If the car is not returned with the same fuel level as when it was picked up, the customer must pay for the missing fuel.

Therefore, the best course of action is:

Before you leave, check the fuel gauge. If you have any questions, ask about it at the time of pickup so everything is clear from the start.

Before the return date, it’s helpful to know where there’s a gas station near your lodging, the return office, or the airport.

This way, you’ll avoid having to search for a gas station in a hurry.

On the last day, there are usually suitcases, flight schedules, checking out of your accommodations, and other details to take care of. Packing with plenty of time to spare will save you stress.

It won’t always be necessary, but it may be helpful to keep the receipt until you’ve completed the vehicle return.

In the case of electric vehicles, the process is similar: the car must be returned with the same battery level as when it was picked up.

If you rent an electric vehicle, it’s a good idea to plan your charging stops in advance and factor in the time needed to return it with the proper charge level.

The fuel policy is one of those details that can make or break the rental experience. When it’s clear from the start, the customer knows what to expect and can plan better.

At Miramar Rent a Car, the philosophy is simple: return the car with the same fuel level as when you picked it up and avoid unnecessary charges.

No. Miramar Rent a Car’s first option is the “full-to-full” policy, with no additional fees.

You must return it with the same amount of fuel as when you received it.

You’ll have to pay for the fuel that wasn’t returned.

There is no refueling charge.

For electric vehicles, the car must be returned with the same battery level as when it was picked up.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.27.0″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”0px|||||” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_row module_id=”3″ _builder_version=”4.23.1″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” header_3_line_height=”1.2em” global_colors_info=”{}”]

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_4,1_4,1_4,1_4″ _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”1_4″ _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” header_3_line_height=”1.2em” global_colors_info=”{}”]

Cars for rent in Cala’n Forcat – Menorca

What is the fuel policy for a rental car?
